The mission of the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art and Politics is to produce cultural, educational and direct service activities with the common purpose of creating a better world. To that end the Center seeks to provide a space for aspiring and established artists, of all modes of artistic expression, to display/perform their art, and to provide space for community groups to come together to strengthen their connections and facilitate the accomplishment of their goals. We believe that by doing so the Center demonstrates that a better world is possible, one in which human beings will come to see one another as inherently good and caring social and ecological beings who seek to fully recognize each other’s common humanity and interconnection with all of life, and to create a world based upon justice, kindness, love, and respect for the earth and mutual recognition with each other.
