Hello Sonoma County Music Socialites,
We are meeting NEXT WEEK on Tuesday, 2/25 for our February SCMS meeting. We are planning for our event next month – a celebration of one year of Music Social in Sonoma County! I’m working to plan a panel with local radio hosts to ask questions about local music trends and what people are requesting on the radio. They might also be able to give insight into what makes the musicians of Sonoma County unique and if they notice anything that gives us a “sound.” Then host a reception and jam session afterwards at the Arlene Francis Center.
If you would like to help or contribute to the March event (it will most likely NOT be a Tuesday so that more local open mic hosts can come), please shoot me an email and let me know. We would love to start welcoming new members into leadership for this organization so it can thrive, and your talents can help and be seen by the larger community.
