EDGE Solutions (Education and Development for Green Economic Solutions) is a non-profit seeking to develop educational programs which will offer a green jobs curriculum linking the acquisition of new job skills with creation of a socially and ecologically conscious green economy as well as building communities of mutual recognition and support. Our goal will be to provide students attending our courses with the knowledge, skills, and values in the areas of solar and other energy technology; green design, building and construction; sustainable agriculture; and biofuel and biodiesel production and application and more. We seek not only to address these material dimensions, but also the spiritual and community dimensions of life to make the Center an important destination for those seeking work that can contribute to creating a more just, sacred and sustainable world.
Currently working with EDGE Solutions at the AF Center for Spirit, Art and Politics are green economy and technology organizations Green Design Systems, Drums for Solar, and greencounter.
